Lori A. Jensen, Ph.D., L.P.
Dr. Lori Jensen consults in the areas of leadership skills and executive coaching, team building, assessment, career development, and organizational change.
Lori has extensive experience as a trainer, and has been asked to consult with educators, corporate executives and community volunteer organizations in helping to improve their efficiency and impact. She has taught industrial/organizational development skills courses at Southern Illinois University and the University of Missouri-Columbia. Her research interests include stress management, job satisfaction and decision-making analysis.
Dr. Jensen has been the president of Complete Psychological Care, Ltd. for seven years. As a business owner, Dr. Jensen has developed considerable expertise in the areas of business planning, marketing, and people management.
Dr. Jensen has a broad-based understanding of complex systems. In her work with individuals and organizations, Dr. Jensen is highly skilled in coaching her clients to maximize their unrealized potential. She is a strong advocate of coaching to an individual' s strengths as well as limitations. She has experience working with both regional and global firms. Prior to her consulting work, she had seventeen years of counseling experience as a Licensed Clinical Psychologist.
Dr. Jensen has a Ph.D. from Southern Illinois University in Counseling Psychology with a minor in Industrial/Organizational Psychology. She is a member of the American Psychological Association, the American Counseling Association, and Chicago Industrial Organizational Psychologists. She also is a member of the National Register of Health Providers in Psychology. She is the leader of an adventurous troop of Girl Scouts and participates in many volunteer activities in her local school district. Dr. Jensen enjoys theater, traveling, hiking, and crocheting, although her favorite leisure activities usually involve laughing and learning with her two teenage children and her husband.
